Volunteer Work

  • New North Social Media Breakfast
    I love social media, so when the opportunity to serve as a panelist for a social media discussion on broadcast media came about, I jumped at the chance!  After that, I was hooked.  I approached the organizers of the events -- The Weidert Group and Element Creative -- about recording and publishing each month's discussion as a downloadable podcast.  I love producing original content and making it available to a broader audience, and these discussions on social media are invaluable to businesses and employees across Northeast Wisconsin.  Since first becoming involved with the New North Social Media Breakfast in February of 2010, I've experimented with live streaming the events as well.
     
  • Firemans Park Neighborhood Association - Green Bay
    I have recently taken an active interest in my neighborhood association.  As a new homeowner, I decided to offer my time and talents to help make our neighborhood a better place.  I've only recently made contact with the leadership of the organization, but have pitched a few ideas for enhancing the group's web and social media presence.  I look forward to making these ideas a reality!
