About Mark

Hi.  I'm Mark.  Who am I?  I'm a writer, multimedia producer, amateur photographer, Internet lurker, rabid technology evangelist and shameless pop culture junkie living, working and loving in Northeast Wisconsin.

Last year, I moved from my lifelong home of Appleton, Wisconsin to Green Bay, got married and bought a house.  I currently make my living as a writer and producer in radio advertising and have won five Wisconsin Broadcasters Association awards for my work since 2005.  I also dabble in art photography, computer building, freelance writing, experimenting with new media, social networking and so forth.  I started a Northeast Wisconsin television-themed web community called Fox Cities TV and write blogs and commentary there.  I am currently developing some new locally-focused social web properties that I'm very hopeful and excited about.  >In my precious spare time, I love watching TV and movies, listening to music, cooking and eating out, shooting photos and video, walking local trails and parks and spending time with my beautiful new wife, Jess.

Here you will find my random thoughts, my photography, some videos I've done, and probably a whole lot more than you ever wanted to know about me.

Oh yeah, if I haven't already bored you to tears, feel free to throw me a line here.

Away We Go
A great all-star cast. An incredible soundtrack and score by Alexi Murdoch. Funny, sweet and touching script. A very fulfilling journey.

Where The Wild Things Are
While it's pretty dark for a kids movie, it's an incredibly well-done, engaging and poignant movie that celebrates the magic of childhood.
